Time Management

Time management is not an easy way which everyone can do. Having good time management is needed to know many things such as:

First, controlling study time which it is known to assume about time management by knowing what priorities, spending time on priorities, setting study goal, not wasting time to unimportant things, making basic schedule, keeping calendar of important event, using note list, building concentration, being flexible, and starting it right the first.

Second, setting priorities is very important for time management which needs to be efficient on your goal and priories. The power and the necessity of goal setting are known as the foundation of good time management.

Third is dealing with procrastination, people naturally try to avoid pain and pursue pleasure which result in procrastination. Avoiding procrastination should be followed these: good preparation having proper plan; setting good goal specific, reasonable, verifiable, and rewardable; imagination of pain distracting of achievement; imagination of pleasure feeling exhilaration of achievement goal; and giving yourself permission to procrastinate on some thing.

Forth is doing it right the first time. Starting to build yourself strong by being active learner in all situation such as reading, during lectures, in labs, in the library, and in everywhere.

Fifth, making good schedule is the heart of the good time management, in studying and working, schedule is tool to remind user to be achieved. A good element to create good schedules for achievement are making a weekly master schedule, adding study time to your schedule, adding non-study items to your schedule, being flexible and persistent, and leave some blank space.

Sixth, using to do list remind to about the specific things which try to list all schedule, important event. If you clear image of what on list, you will be aware of all things you to do and able to achieve them.

Seventh is using calendar. Calendar, like schedule, uses for the visual intelligence to a spatial depiction in the future.

Eighth is implementing the principle of divide and conquer which lead your time on the smaller task to be actually complete each day.

Ninth is using fractions of time. Some valuable time is on the bits and pieces of time which can be derived double and triple in learning.

Tenth is being aware of alertness cycles. You should know the time can be strong and weak in absorb things in work or studying. If you do not know about your alertness cycle, you should pay attention on that for at least week. try to evaluate your energy and how you alert at different time.
