On Wednesday 3^rd June in the morning, it was the good chance for my classmates and I to visit printing house nearby the Beng Trabek High school in Phnom Penh. I felt very happy and interested to what I saw at the printing house. Arriving there with my lecturer, my classmates and I were welcomed by the staffs in there introducing, discussing, and guiding the process of printing at their place.

It was a nice time I learned and understood about the designing in the reality. Studying in class about some skills related to designing, sometimes, is not definitely clear as experiencing the reality. The designing in computer to get the books or beautiful designing papers is not an easy way. I could understand that it needs many ideas and techniques of decorating to appear in the paper to satisfy the customers.  Moreover, the skill of computer designing is very important to arrange the concepts in the brain to the computer screen and transfer it to the papers or other things else.

To add, I also got the idea bout the process of printing from the designing in the computer to the final products. It was a little complicated explain because it has a lot terms to across from in the computer to the printing machine. All kinds of works in the printing house have to be careful and patience. For example, I see the staff in front of computer so busy with their concentration on their roles.

Many workers, there, were active with works, but they are also friendly to answer all questions of my friends. They were encourage us to know more by explaining accurately all the processes of printing. For example, at the printing machine, old man who control printing machine tested how to print the paper with the four basic colors (CMYK) for us to know clearly. He also said that he has to test till the printing look nice and accepted by the customers.  

To conclude, I really appreciate for the trip to this printing house. It provides more than I expect with the skills and understanding of designing and printing. I hope I will have the good chance like this to visit other places.
